I wanted try to share my experience with all of you in a way that could make you feel closer to the region, so I bought a Flip camera and took a few videos during my trip. Barolo and Nebbiolo (the grape that makes up Barolo) have been very important in my wine career. If you are not on the Nebbiolo train, run to your local wine shop and pick up one! It can be a simple but yummy Langhe Nebbiolo or a complex Barolo or Barbaresco. Either way, you will be happy! Pardon the nostril shot, this was my first video and I had not fully realized the best way to take the video of myself, by myself.

I have just returned from an amazing adventure in Piemonte! I was hoping to get some posts up while I was away but the event was jam packed from early AM to late PM. I have begun to distill all the information I gathered while I was away so stay tuned for some juicy updates on great wines from Piemonte and thoughts on the 2006 and 2007 vintages in the region and more!
