to be 100% honest I was expecting the Gaja wines to be overdone, blousy and over the top...I was totally wrong. The wines were lovely, balanced and showed the depth of a classic wine. My favorite of the 99's was the Sori Tildin 1999 (95% Nebbiolo plus 5% Barbera). It is expensive but if you can splurge it is wroth it.
