No I am not getting closer to becoming a pig, although since joining the Osteria Mozza team my pig consumption has gotten even greater. I am getting closer to moving into the new apartment and living much closer to the restaurant. I hoping the cut in my commute time will allow me more time to get back to sharing my perspective on the world of food, wine and travel. The past four weeks have been an amazing transition that has presented its joys, challenges and fun. I have opened some amazing bottles of wine and have finally begun to taste wines again. I have a laundry list of wines to share so get ready to search your area for these wines. Here is a brief list of what I feel yall need to seek out:
1. Anything by Elio Grasso - producer from Piedmont
2. Look for both white and red wines from Mount Etna in Sicily. All the wines from this region have been
amazing and so unique.
3. If you are in the mood for sparkling wine but don't want to shell out the dough for Champagne, look for
Cremant de Bourgone or Cremants de Alsace. I have found many good values and the quality is solid
