It has been a fast and furious past five weeks. Just over a month ago I was sipping vintage Champagne from a balcony overlooking the Pacific to running and gunning wine in LA. I have obviously been less than diligent in providing yall information of wines from around the world, so to get myself back to sharing as much as possible I want to give you a low down on some of the wine experiences I have encountered over the past month.
1. An evening with Luca Currado of Vietti Winery
2. Dinner with Gaia Gaja of Gaja Estate
3. A tour of Italy wine dinner. One a tour along the A-4 and the second a tour of Italy north to south
4. 2001 and 2003 Emidio Pepe Montepulciano d' Abruzzo....WOW! A wine that really is worth the expense.
There have been many more memorable wine experiences over the past month but starting Monday I'll be back to getting yall the dish on wine. Monday Night wines will be back every week along with posts on dining in LA, fun wines and since it is December I'm going to chat up sparkling wine!
Cheers!
I look forward to hearing more about these dinners. Please give us a couple sentences about what we missed! I'd love to be that fly on the wall for the Gaia wine dinner or Vietti event. What should we know about?
Can't wait to read more.
