The above photo is the only way to describe our day out on our friends' house boat in Sausalito. We spent Saturday eating lovely cheeses, breads, cured meats, salads and drank a few bottles of Champagne (Charles de Cazanove 1er Cru) and various roses from southern France. After five hours of sun, good food, friends and playing with Jack (Jenn and Matt's 3 year old son) we were well fed, lubricated, and a tad red from the sun. I had never been to the famous house boats of Marin, but now that we know people on the water I look forward to more stories of turning old ferries into houses and Shel Silverstein making guacomola for dock parties in the 1970's.
The Harvey's Boat
The Mirene was originally built in 1912 and still works. The owners take her out on the Bay every so often. This was one of my favorite boats in the area.
The credit loans are important for people, which would like to ground their business. In fact, it is comfortable to receive a short term loan.
