Every year the food world comes together to show off their products to the food retailers, writers, and sellers. This world-renowned food show is called the Fancy Food Show and is a unique culinary experience that if you are able you should attend. Each year the show tends to have an overall theme or trend that permeates throughout the event; the theme could be Goji berries, unique salts or cured meats, but this year there was a palpable
sense of showing the products with proven track records. Going into the show I expected as much. The majority of retailers across the globe are experiencing sharp declines in sales, forcing manufactures to produce less and therefore possibly slowing down innovation or putting new products on the back burning until the economy begins to move forward again. The fact that there was no "new" trend did not make the show any less relevant or decrease the number of exhibitors or attendees. Though I did not find any products that really "wowed" me, I did taste a number of products and meet a number of vendors that I am looking forward to seeing in the market place in 2009.
Top Three of the Fancy Food Show 2009
1. "Culture" - the word on Cheese
-Culture is the nations first gourmet cheese magazine.
2. Linda's Gourmet Latkes
- Chef Linda Hausberg has solved the issue the smell house (when you make Latkes at home, your home stinks for weeks of oil and potatoes). These pre-made Latkes take the (potatoe)cake for quality, authenticity and saving time.
3. Immaculate Baking Co: Better Bakes (frozen pre-made cookies)
- These pre-made cookies are not only good, but made from all quality and natural ingredients. Unlike the Tollhouse pre-made cookies, these cookies have not hydrogenated fats and taste like the real thing.
Other Fancy Food Show Finds
34 Degrees Crispbread: These may be the best crackers I have ever tried. The entire line is exceptional
Aqua Source: I am very torn on the "water industry" as it is a large contributor to waste in the United States. Aqua Source was one of two companies with water in an alternative to the plastic bottle. Aqua Source is packaged in tetra-packs, similar to soy milk or chicken stock. The package is made of paper that is 70% renewable and 100% recyclable.
Cary's English Toffee: Plain and simple...good and yummy.
Dancing Deer Baking Co.: Producer of cookies, pancake mixes, and other baking goods. They support and raise funds for homeless programs across the United States.
Fizzy Lizzy: Fizzy Lizzy makes sparkling fruit juices that are pure, refreshing and very tasty! I recommend the whole line.
G.u.S. - Grown-Up-Soda: This is a soda that appeals to the inner-child in us all but would also be enjoyed by children. The soda uses real sugar but in a proportion that is not excessive and decreases the sweetness of the soda. Very unique flavors and all very good.
Arctic Natural Waters Ltd Icebox: Another water that is being packaged in paper versus plastic.
Tommy's Ultimate Mixes: A San Francisco favorite. Tommy's is a Mexican restaurant in the Richmond District of the city that has built a reputation of making some of the world's best margaritas. A few years ago they began producing a pre-made margarita mix of organic limes and agave nectar that is the BEST margarita mix on the market. They are now making a mojito and Bloody Mary mix that are also my go to mixes when I am too lazy to make them from scratch.
Lots of specialists claim that home loans aid people to live their own way, just because they can feel free to buy needed stuff. Moreover, banks offer college loan for young and old people.

Some time before, I needed to buy a good car for my firm but I didn't have enough cash and could not buy anything. Thank God my colleague suggested to try to get the mortgage loans from reliable creditors. So, I did that and was satisfied with my bank loan.

I had got a dream to start my own commerce, but I didn't earn enough amount of money to do that. Thank God my friend said to use the mortgage loans. Therefore I used the collateral loan and realized my old dream.
